1. BURREN FOOD SERIES – FORAGING FOR EDIBLE WILD FOODS IN THE BURREN
What is it? The Burren Weekly Food Series. You will enjoy a foraging walk with a tasting of Winter Jelly made from edible wild fruit! You will embark on the Trail 81 Ballyvaughan Loop Walk and will be given an edible plant identification kit which you can use to take photography and forage. This is a great tour for anybody interested in food, plants and wildlife.

2. BURREN FOOD SERIES – BURREN BEER TASTING AND DINNER.
What is it? The Burren Weekly Food Series. This is an evening of Burren Beer Tasting and dinner. The night includes beer tasting, a dinner in the company of the Master Brewer with traditional Irish music afterwards. Meet Peter Curtin, the Master Brewer, and delve a little deeper into the history of the brewery and the brewing process itself. He will take you through the Burren Microbrewery beers. The Burren Gold lager, Burren Red ale and Burren Black stout. A great tour for all foodies and anyone interested in trying out new craft beers.
Where is it? Burren Brewery & Kieran’s Kitchen at the Roadside Tavern, Lisdoonvarna, Co.Clare.
When is it? The event takes place on the Monday 13th of October 2014 and is an all day event.
