The Burren Slow Food Festival is taking place on 11th-13th March.  This year’s line up looks to be a great one!


Slow down, shop local, and make good choices about what we eat!

As a member of the Burren Ecotourism group Doolin Ferry with Bill O’Brien is proud to be a part of this wonderful weekend.  For the past two years we have been hosting a Champagne Picnic on our Cliffs of Moher Cruise which were spectacular events.  This year the Slow Food Festival wanted to try something new!  The brand new ‘Taste the Atlantic- A Seafood Journey’ event will take place on Friday 11th May.  We will bring everyone from Doolin to Inis Oirr to the Seafood Buffet at Tigh Ned’s on Inis Oírr, Aran Islands.  Tigh Ned is known for their seafood delicacies, fresh from the sea.  The Ó Conghaile family fishes most of their seafood themselves of the island of Inis Oirr.  Tigh Ned is located right on the islands edge overlooking the Burren and Galway Bay.  A fantastic place for fantastic slow food!

The event will take place from 18:00 – 20:00 on Friday 11th May.  There are a limited number of tickets available for this event so please reserve ahead HERE.
